Join us for a great day of teaching, fellowship, and fun at First Baptist Church!

Pastor Tyson Olheiser of Calvary Baptist in Urbana IL and Pastor Albert Bennet of Bible Baptist in Rantoul IL will encourage us from God’s Word and optional breakout sessions will cover topics including homeschooling, parenting, dating, and music.

Enjoy fun activities for the whole family including bounce houses, carnival games, cornhole, potato guns, pumpkin painting, spike ball, volleyball and more!

A free lunch is provided for all who attend and additional snacks and refreshments are available for purchase throughout the day.

Speakers

Pastor Tyson Olheiser

Pastor Tyson Olheiser of Calvary Baptist in Urbana IL has multiple degrees in Physics including a PhD in Physics from the University of Illinois. Prior to his call to the ministry Tyson studied at every level of the modern educational system and now in addition to his duties as pastor, he serves as the administrator of Calvary Baptist Christian Academy a K-12 Christian school started by their church. In his session he will challenge us to think biblically about education and address some of the positives and negatives of the options currently available to Christian parents.

Pastor Albert Bennet

Pastor Albert Bennet of Bible Baptist in Rantoul IL is a graduate of Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown Wisconsin. He has served as the pastor of Bible Baptist since 2015. Albert and his wife Sarah have three children Jocelynn, Caleb, and Sophia. In his session Pastor Bennet will encourage us as Christians to develop a God-honoring culture of the home that can be passed down to the next generation.

    This is a great session for teens, young adults, and parents.
