You’re invited to the 5th Annual
Men’s Steak Out
Nov. 7th 2026 at First Baptist Church
Event Information:
Join us November 7th at 5pm (CST) for a wonderful evening of food, fellowship, and Gospel preaching.
We will begin in the sanctuary at 5pm for some opening announcements, and prayer before heading to the fellowship hall for dinner including steak, potatoes, veggies, salad, and desert!
After the meal we will return to the sanctuary for a time of introductions, fellowship, special recognitions and singing of Psalms and hymns.
Finally our speaker Jon Harris will challenge our hearts from God’s Word.
This is a free event open to men of all ages, but attendees must register before October 31st.
If you’d like to support this event an offering will be taken during the service to help cover travel expenses and be a blessing to our speaker.
About our Speaker:
Born and raised in a Christian home, Jon came to understand and appreciate the Gospel and his family’s faithfulness as a young man. In addition to his undergraduate studies Jon has completed a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Seminary (2018) and a Master of Arts in History from Liberty University (2020).
Jon has written three books, including his most recent work Against the Waves: Christian Order in a Liberal Age and is probably best know for his popular Christian podcast Conversations That Matter which tackles news, politics, and current events with biblical insights and historical perspectives.
Jon and his wife married in 2016 and welcomed their first child into their home in 2023.
Jon’s hobbies include hiking, cycling, hunting, fishing and enjoying God’s beautiful creation through nature.
